Quick Start
From registration to your first activity data. Follow these four steps in order.
Before you begin
A Windows PC to install the agent on.
Access to employees' work email to send them their invitation.

Create your company account
Registration automatically creates your company on the platform and assigns you the Company Admin role, with full access to all settings.

Go to thepulsetracker.com and click Sign up.2
Fill in your company name, email and password.3
Log in with your credentials. Your company is ready.Only one company can be registered per email. If you need to create another, use a different email address.

Add your employees
Create user accounts before installing the agent. Each user needs a valid email and a correctly configured Windows username.

Go to Admin → Users → Create user.2
Enter name, email and role (Employee, Manager or Admin).3
The user will receive an email to set their password.4
Make sure the Windows Username field matches the actual username on their machine (e.g. alopez).If you have many employees, you can import them in bulk from Admin → Users → Import CSV. You can also skip this step: when the agent is installed, if the Windows username does not exist in the platform, it is created automatically.

Install the agent on each machine
The Windows agent collects activity data and sends it to the platform. It must be installed on every PC you want to monitor.

Download the installer from the Devices section of the platform.2
Run it on the employee's machine with administrator permissions.3
The agent starts automatically with Windows and runs in the background.If the Windows username does not exist in the platform, the agent creates it automatically with the detected username. The admin approves it from Users and the employee completes their profile from the agent icon in the taskbar.

Check that data is coming in
Within a few minutes of installing the agent, metrics will start appearing on the dashboard. If you see no data, check the following.

Open the Dashboard and check that activity has been recorded.2
If there is no data, go to Admin → Users and verify the Windows Username is spelled correctly.3
Make sure the employee's machine is on and the agent is running.Data updates every few minutes. It is normal for the first data to take up to 5 minutes to appear.
