The agent is designed to monitor application and website usage, not to surveil employees. It collects only the minimum data necessary.
What the agent collects
Name of the active application (e.g. chrome.exe, code.exe).
Active browser domain (e.g. github.com, youtube.com).
Active and idle time per 5-minute window.
Windows username to link it to the platform user.
What the agent does NOT collect
No screenshots.
No keylogging.
No access to file or document content.
No audio or video recording.
No access to emails or messages.
GDPR compliance
Data is processed solely in a professional context.
The company is responsible for informing employees about monitoring before installing the agent.
Data is stored on ThePulseTracker servers and not shared with third parties.
Employees can request information about their own data through their company's data controller.
All data is transmitted encrypted over HTTPS between the agent and ThePulseTracker servers.
