Feature
Classification rules
Classify the applications and websites your employees use so that metrics reflect your company's reality.
How it works
1
The agent detects the apps and websites used by each employee.2
About 5 minutes after someone opens an app or website, it appears in the Unclassified panel.3
If you leave it unclassified, it counts as Productive time by default.4
Drag the app or website to the correct column. Changes apply at the next metrics consolidation, about 5 minutes later.Categories
Productive — apps and websites you consider direct work for your company.
Necessary — useful but not directly productive apps (email, Teams, internal tools).
Unproductive — apps and websites that add no work value.
Hidden / Do not show — apps excluded from all metrics. They do not appear in any chart or table.
Rule scope
Rules can be defined at three levels. More specific rules take priority over more general ones.
Company (General) — apply to the whole company.
Department — override company rules for that department.PLUS
Section — override department rules.PLUS
More features
Description — add a label to each app to identify it more easily (e.g. 'JIRA', 'VSCode').
Add custom pattern — manually enter an .exe or domain that has not yet been detected.
Top Apps by usage time — table at the bottom of the page showing the most-used apps by time, their assigned category and percentage of total. Filterable by Today, Week, Month or Total.
Export — download the configured rules as CSV, Excel or PDF.
Important note
Unclassified apps count as Productive. Review the Unclassified panel regularly to keep metrics accurate for your company.
